The Northland Revolution is a youth football club, dedicated to preserving the values, integrity and safety in youth sports. We set out to create a different perspective on the game of football. To us, this game is more than wins and losses. It teaches so many valuable life lessons that can only be taught through unity, hard work and dedication.
As proud Northlanders, we believe that there is nothing more important than growing and developing our local community to be a safe and solid foundation to which we can build on and preserve for future generations to come.
In many areas all over the country we have seen a steady decline in not only youth football, but youth sports in general. According to the National Federation of State High School Associations, over the past 10 years, HS football participation has dropped by 74,000 students. Some of the biggest reasons for this decline, is the cost to play, and fear of injuries. With equipment design and coaching techniques today, football is safer than it has ever been, but the equipment is much more expensive than it has been in the past.
In the Northland area many of the teams are charging upwards of $500 to play football. We believe that number can be, and should be much lower. It is through the help of partnering with local business that we can keep our fees low while at the same time strengthening local businesses in the Northland. This helps to grow local businesses and gives opportunity to young athletes in the Northland.
We have many needs that can be met through a tax deductible 501c3 partnership.
